Any rough guidelines out there for how much per square metre it is for a tiler to tile a kitchen floor?
Another home improvement cost question from me.
Anyone know a rough guide to the cost of a tiler to tile the kitchen floor in slate per square metre. We live in London. Looking for the cost just of labour – not of also supplying the tiles and grout etc
Thanks again!

Unless you want to remorgage you house do it your self. Floor tiling is not that dificult.
Try this it for ceramic tiles but they work the same really:

quality job, about 30-40 squid, if you don’t giv a stuff about 15. best advice is to get a ref you can verify, cause once they are on the walls / floor cost u more to get em off.

Difficult one. I’m assuming you mean ceramin tiles – Depends on the type of tile and the preparation to the floor. If the floor is sound and tiles can be adhered on top, then it should be fairly cheap (probably around £10-£15 per sq meter). If the floor needs preparation (levelling & screeding), then you could be looking at around £30-£100 per sq meter depending on how much levelling is required.

Anything from 10 to 20 quid per metre depends on the tiles as well

£ 20 per meter if no prep work.
Its not rocket science but its a horrible job to do.
It is easy to do yourself but time consuming.
I know i have just laid 900 of the ba***rds on a bad surface.
